This is the world premiere of Hector and Achilles.
The Shakespeare Ensemble is thrilled to be putting on the show, directed by its author, Edward Eaton.
Odysseus and Ajax, who had convinced Patroclus to put on Achilles' armor to trick the Trojans, worry about how Achilles will react and try to shift the blame for the ruse on the reluctant Thersites. Hector prepares for his inevitable confrontation with Achilles by bidding his family farewell. After witnessing the duel between both heroes and the death of Hector, the Greeks and Trojans anticipate war. Finally, beset by Greeks, Trojans, and the ghosts of the dead, Priam confronts Achilles over the body of his dead son.
